Annual Site Update | 24 November 2008

Vinci LLC is currently updating its website. Vinci™ Vignettes are described and a few of the best and latest projects have been added to the portfolio.

Highlight: Vinci™ Focus™ | 21 March 2008

Most Vinci construction visualization is richly modeled, aimed at being as lifelike as possible to aid your audience’s understanding, always keeping your message paramount. Vinci™ Focus™ cuts to the chase, simply portraying the audience’s proposed improvement (building project) as it develops under your construction schedule. Focus™ ignores the buildings and the landscape rather strictly to home in solely on the actual building. Focus™ is ideal for clear-site projects where site logistics, circulation, and terrain are not significant issues. For those projects that require closer attention to topography, where you need to show analysis of sophisticated construction issues, Vinci™ General Construction Sequence™ and Vinci™ Digital Worksite™ are better options. These two services will be described in the coming months. Click here to see an example of Vinci™ Focus™ in action.

Website Expanded | 3 February 2008

Vinci LLC offers answers to some FAQs. These answers represent the frank opinions of Vinci LLC and are presented here for your convenience. Vinci is also developing pages to describe services and features. The first part of this effort is a description of Vinci’s Vail™ technology, instrumental in developing its Convincing Construction Administration. These topics will soon be available via the “About” button above.

Vinci LLC to integrate BIM processes | 2 February 2008

Faster production times ahead, thanks to introducing some BIM routines into work process. The introduction of AutoDesk® Revit® processes is expected to be gradual.
BIM has current limitations that prevent it from becoming the entire process, but it presents routines that can streamline some production. Vinci anticipates evolution in the software, perhaps eventually facilitating accommodation of a more significant portion of production. BIM was first applied on a project in early January 2008. The Vinci Vail™ object library was developed in 2004 with BIM in mind.
Vinci will “revitize” its Vail™ object library in autumn, perhaps offering some portion of the Vail™ library for sale in 2009. Lots of development ahead!

New Dualcore Workstation! | 3 January 2008

Faster production times, latest software. You may choose Office 2007 or CS3 format work. Vinci’s default will remain Office 2003 until broader adoption in the marketplace is assured. This system will be fully functional in Early February 2008. System first used on a January project now makes Vinci™ Immersive Contextual Modeling™ or ICM™ feasible. The Third Year of Vinci Construction Visualization| 17 January 2007

Vinci thanks its clients and supporters for two and a half years of business! Last year brought three dimensional worksite visualization and the ability to illustrate excavation to Vinci’s toolset. Vinci’s “Research Department” is working on innovations in construction visualization that aim to improve the speed and flexibility of service.

Results of the 2006 Contextual Geography Initiative | December 2006

Vinci LLC has successfully incorporated contextual geography as a regular part of its construction visualization services. For most locations in the United States, Vinci can generate the lay of land in and around your worksite. Coupled with Vinci’s contextual modeling service, your project appears amid the other structures and natural features of its environment. If you have access to precision topographic information generated by a civil engineer, the accuracy of Vinci’s digital model can be improved sufficiently to make excellent studies of site excavation for your next interview. Armed with Vinci’s construction visualization, you can show your audience your team is better acquainted with that worksite than any competitor! Vinci’s contextual geography service also serves as a check on the validity of the scale of your project. This is Vinci’s scale assurance program; it gives you the power to check out whether what you’re proposing will really fit on that site. These services go beyond simply drawing pretty pictures. The contextual geography service is another way Vinci helps convey your message to your audience clearly and convincingly, so that they can see as well as hear what you mean at your next interview. You know what they say, “Seeing is believing.”

New Office, Same Great Location | November 2006

Vinci LLC has moved to Suite 205 at 5106 Hampton Avenue. This gives the company more than double the room to crank on your next project.

Vinci LLC Brings on Kyle Tierney | June 2006

Vinci LLC’s workforce doubled in June 2006, with the arrival of a brilliant Miami University (Ohio) architecture major Kyle Tierney beginning a summer internship. Look out! Kyle has a passion for Greek, Roman, and Egyptian architecture and is preparing a stunning vision of how the Ancients built the Stoa of Attalos. Kyle will be using Vinci’s unique digital modeling methods to convey this vision. Kyle’s work will be visible on this site this fall. Kyle brings his own fresh style to Vinci’s vintage 1950’s studio, a welcome reprieve from the newsday that normally echos here. If you’re down with Kyle, you’re up with a promising leader for the next decade. (That gives me ten years to stay ahead of this guy!) Look out, Generation X, Y and Z, it’s goin’ down, and it’s all good!

Vinci LLC Thanks Sponsors and Advisors,
Celebrates First Year of Business | November 2005

Wednesday, 26 October 2005 marks the first anniversary of the establishment of Vinci LLC. The last year has seen Vinci move to its Hampton Avenue office, and a couple massive victories for its clients, including the winning of a $1 billion aircraft assembly facility in June, and a $400 million casino and five star hotel in August. Vinci has conducted work for projects across the midwest, south, and northeast. Vinci is grateful to its sponsors and advisors for a successful first year of business. Vinci looks toward its expansion in 2006, and dreams of business in Tuscany. Vinci believes that its Sponsors and Advisors are worth their weight in gold and silver, and eagerly awaits the next opportunity to work with them in 2006.
