The Az-Zahra Book

The Az-Zahra sketchbook was devoted to the November 1994 visit to Andalusia, Spain. The sketches focused on the Great Mosque Cathedral of Cordoba, Spain (La Gran Mezquita-Catedral en Córdoba, España). Some on-site sketches were produced examining its construction and layout. This sketchbook ended up a more calculated and sober set of analyses and was not experimental nor introspective as many of the other sketchbooks. Developed 19-24 November 1994 = Tayyin 51a3-51a8, five dozen first phase (Xrga Asyðanal).
