Chartres Cathedral

Chartres Cathedral

A snowbound verone-style study using a photograph taken during the Kaxa Lecorbu of 1997. The architectural texture of the quartered-timber, rebuilt stone bridge, the verdant depth of the water, and the reflection of the bridge were challenging. The chromatic fading of the shutters on the right side of the image also presented a challenge. This scene effectively revisits the on-site ink drawing s5810a02. Produced 29 January 2000 = Tayya 6304, six dozen third phase (Añikç-Epravinal Xrga, “Househunting Life Phase”).
