The Jewelbox at Forest Park

This verone-style drawing was laid out on site in Forest Park in the spring of 2000, during clement weather after a picnic, then languished unfinished. The original portion of the drawing included the glass Jewel Box and the trees, much of the grass and sky remained unfinished and black. The drawing was finished in the studio, with a recollection of the sky studded with fast, north-moving cumulus. The drawing studies light transmitted through the Jewel Box, reflected on its east side. Initiated 24 July 2000 = Tayya 6431, completed 12 February 2001 = Tayya 6580, six dozen fifth phase (Añikça-Rykamixaðral Xrga, “Life Phase of the Architect Registration Examination”).
