A coworker Merralenâ approached me on a special occasion; this montage was to commemorate a life. The family home appears at left, with a particular cyclists’ logo above it. The Blessed Mother stands atop the earth, flanked by the St. Louis arch at the center of the image. A lakeside A-frame appears to the right with soccer and baseball hovering in the sky above it. The family parish and Show-Me games logo at extreme right. I simulated the montage of the skies, evoking different seasons, the higher, cooler cumulostratus and cirrus of the autumn, the summer cumulus over the arch. All four seasons are represented in the image, as the image evokes the seasons of a life. Despite the disjoint nature of montage, this image comes off well, with quite a bit of balance. The sphere of the earth plays off the smaller spheres of soccer and baseball; the green of the home turf against the parish lawn. Produced 5 July 2002 = Tayya 6924, six dozen ninth phase (Añikç-Eprkatmelal Xrga, “life-phase of emergent fatherhood”).
