Coffeeshop, Chicago, and Engineers

This page contains pencil sketches from days over a month apart. The upper sketches drawn 7 September 1996 (Tayya 5651) are a stream of consciousness laid out at Stacks Cafe in Clayton. A couple studies of fellow patrons, one at top reading, the other at the center enjoying dinner. The stylized female face is probably Xibane, above paragraph questioning if it really is better back home. A study of a compact light bulb, new and uncommon at the time, appears at left. A ballpoint stylized man in a suit hovers under it. The cursive lrixe name Reney appears in red. The right-facing lower sketch is a study of the engineers returning to the Power House office building on their way back from lunch at St. Louis Union Station, seen from the second floor of the office 14 October 1996, Tayya 5682. Page produced during the five dozen sixth phase (Ñixaþa-Xiübanal Xrga).
